What started as a personal hobby turned into a calling, leading me from a salon job in Wheatley to launching my own business in 2018. From a small 10x12 room to a thriving salon with a talented team of 12, I’ve grown alongside my amazing clients. Certified in nails, eyelash extensions, pedicures, waxing, and facials, I focus on the services I love most. More than just a salon, Helen’s Beauty Bar is a place where beauty meets confidence, and I can’t wait to welcome you in.

Meet Tina Banman -Nail Technician & Beauty Specialist
With nine years of experience as a professional nail technician, Tina Banman has transformed her passion for beauty into a thriving career. Before stepping into the industry, she honed her craft by doing nails for family and friends—a hobby that quickly became her calling.

At Helen’s Beauty Bar, Tina specializes in a wide range of services, including nail care, pedicures, facial waxing, brow lamination, brow tinting, henna brows, lash lifts and tints, and spray tanning. Her attention to detail and commitment to excellence ensure that every client leaves feeling confident and pampered.

A certified nail technician since 2021, Angie Neufeld brings skill, precision, and creativity to Helen’s Beauty Bar. Specializing in gel nails and pedicures, Angie has a keen eye for detail and a true passion for nail art.

Her dedication to perfection ensures that every client leaves feeling confident and satisfied. Whether you're looking for a flawless manicure or a beautifully crafted design, Angie takes pride in delivering exceptional results.

Proudly working for Helen’s Beauty Bar since 2022, certified nail artist Kayla Scratch is passionate about creating beautiful, long-lasting nails using hard gel, builder gel, and custom designs. Her keen eye for detail, creativity, and strong communication skills allow her to bring each client’s vision to life—one stunning set at a time.

In addition to nail artistry, Kayla offers facial waxing, eyelash lifts and tints, spray tans, and henna brow treatments. Whether you’re seeking bold, artistic designs or timeless elegance, Kayla is committed to delivering exceptional results tailored to your unique style.

Lisa’s journey into the world of beauty began in healthcare, where she worked as a nurse driven by her love of helping others. Over time, she discovered her true passion lay in creativity and self-expression. That realization led her to transition into the beauty industry as a nail aesthetician, where she could continue caring for people—but in a more artistic and personal way.

Lisa joined Helen’s Beauty Bar because of its warm, welcoming environment and the strong sense of community. She brings a gentle touch, a keen eye for detail, and a love for turning each nail session into a mini work of art.

When she’s not creating stunning nail designs, you’ll likely find Lisa curled up with a good book, getting lost in a great story.

Claudia specializes in all nail services, blending her passion for art with a desire to help people look and feel their best. For her, doing nails is more than just a job—it’s a creative outlet and a way to make meaningful connections with others.

Poppy Bennett is the founder of BodyWell and a certified specialist in lymphatic drainage and holistic body therapies. Through her practice, BodyWell by Poppy Bennett, she offers deeply restorative sessions designed to reduce inflammation, promote circulation, and help you feel lighter, calmer, and more connected to your body.

With a gentle, intuitive approach and a passion for whole-body wellness, Poppy creates a space where healing and relaxation go hand in hand. Each session is thoughtfully tailored to support your body’s natural rhythms and enhance overall well-being.

Candace is the owner of Heavenly Hands Massage, located within Helen’s Beauty Bar. She brings a warm, nurturing approach to her work, with specialized training in Swedish massage techniques aimed at enhancing each client’s well-being.

Before becoming a massage therapist, Candace had a successful career in retail management and also holds a diploma in Early Childhood Education, which she earned in 2006. She later graduated from Canadian Health and Technology with a focus in massage therapy.

Candace made the career shift to create more time for her two children while still doing meaningful work that helps others feel their best. Her passion for wellness and caring for people is at the heart of every session she provides.

A dedicated Registered Nurse with 10 years of experience, specializing in critical care. Over the past five years, Sarah has developed a strong passion for cosmetic injections, combining her expertise with an eye for aesthetics. She takes pride in helping clients feel confident and refreshed, using her skills to enhance natural beauty with precision and care.

Abby specializes in customized facials, tailoring treatments to leave skin glowing, refreshed, and deeply nourished.
